SC: Ayodhya dispute set for hearing on  February 8, 2018



The Supreme court on Tuesday ordered that the final hearing of the court will be commenced over the dispute of Babri Masjid and Ram Janambhoomi case, tomorrow is the 25th anniversary of this case.


The judges who sat in the meeting was the Chief Justice Ashok Bhushan, Justice Dipak Mishra and Justice S Abdul Nazeer ordered all the advocates to work properly on the paper works of the case.

The story begins from Mahanta RamChandradas Paramhans approached the local court in 1949 to allow worshipping, and on the other hand, Hashim Ansari also approached to remove Lord Ram Statue from the Babri Masjid.


The Mahant died on July 22, 2003, and Ansari died last year in July which was the only witness who saw ramlalla in the masjid in 1949 on 22 December. He was the only one who approached the court in Faizabad for the encroachment of Masjid from by the Hindu Mahasabha.


After Ansari’s death, the dispute was over, but when the court ordered in 1989 the removal of the mosque from there which led to several riots in Uttar Pradesh in 1992 where afterward the Lucknow High Court in 2010 disputed land into three parts.


The other person in this whole matter was Mahant Bhaskar Das who claims that Hindu had the ownership of Ramjanambhoomi and filed the petition. This September 2017 he died, and on the other hand, the famous leader of this Ayodhya movement Ashok Singhal also died in 2015.


The journey begins in 80’s, and till now it’s running like anything, the most sensitive matter in Uttar Pradesh where people are eagerly waiting for the result to come of what will be built there.


The Sunni Waqf party has also appealed to the apex court for building the mosque, and there are many points and documents of this issue. The documents are in thousands which needs time to solve and study the matter seriously, and various other political obligations are there on the senior official’s lets see what happens in the Yogi Adityanath’s government.
