Finally, the Galaxy Note 8 is here and you can now hit the button for pre-order in few days time. The phone will be available in stores and also online starting 15 September. In the US, the phablet will be priced around somewhere between $930 to $960 which in Indian currency is (59K to 61K) . We expect the price tags in India to be around the same place. The Galaxy Note 8 looks very much identical to the previous leaks and versions which were floating online. Galaxy Note 8 features a metal body sandwiched between 3D curved glass, just like the previous Galaxy 8 phone.

However, takes things a step ahead and the display is stretched deeper into the corners of the front display. The Display for the phone is a 6.3-inch QHD screen plus display sporting a resolution of 1,400 x 2,960 pixels in what Samsung has branded as an Infinity Display.

As we talk about the cameras, the Galaxy Note 8 is the first smartphone from Samsung which will have a dual camera setup. The device has two 12MP cameras with different lens setup. The one which is front facing is an 8MP AF with an f/1.7 aperture.

With a dual set of the camera at the back, the second 12MP camera features AF along with a f/2.4 aperture and OIS but with a telephoto lens that will give 2X optical zoom and 10X digital zoom.

The device will be carrying an accelerometer, barometer with a fingerprint sensor and gyro sensor. This will also be equipped with geometric, hall and heart rate sensor. Iris sensor, proximity and pressure sensor are also included in this.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 runs Android 7.1.1 out of the box and the colours will be Midnight Black, Orchid Grey, Maple Gold and Deepsea Blue. Samsung’s latest offering will come with a 3,300 mAh battery life with fast charging.
